Nick Horvath injury-replacement for Brandt at Kings
He's only 33 which surprised me as i thought he was older. Could be a handy pickup.

Nick is a great pick up.
Is he back living in Australia or still over in NZ?

If he can still play he will definitely be an improvement on Brandt and especially Duinker, not that this is saying much. Both are very soft under the basket.

Lives in Palmerston North in NZ and works as a teacher. I can imagine this is only a 3-4 week thing.

He lives in NZ married a local girl and made all star 5 in 2013 so he still has something to offer.

Seems a great pickup, why hasn't anyone else made him an offer up till now? Surely NBL pays more to a big man than teaching?
was not in Subway with the rest of the boys an hour ago
would have been a good candidate for Matt Knight in Perth, and Pledger in NZ if breakers wanted to rest hi from turf toe
You know you have been out of the league a long time when the NBL news photo has Peter Crawford and Ben Knight in Wildcats uniforms!!!
He was horrible his last season with the Dragons. Just horrible.
Good pick up - Horvath has been a beast in the NZNBL who knows how in shape he is at the moment though.
What's the name of the centre from na who last played with the blaze? Was decent but I think he liked to party too much
Bradshaw. He still play? Heck even Hudson would be a cheap import

I hope this is a good signing... I'm positive, if his big numbers are any reflection of his effort levels, even if they don't 100% translate to the NBL, it should be a big step up from whatever the Kings were doing beforehand...
Don't forget Horvath was a 20 + 10 player in the NBL and he's still only 33.

How bad is this guy? Talk about embarrassing himself vs Cairns. The guy looks like a 40 yo coming out of retirement.

Fouled out in 7:29 was a fair effort on debut.
To be fair, he can't be worse than Daniel Joyce.
