Matty Knight broke his toe, out up to 8 weeks
Reported by Lachy Reid on Channel 10 news.
Was going to play through it but scans came back bad.
Big blow!

Perth are done unless they get a decent replacement.

Might need to set up an NBL recovery ward for all the injuries. THere seems to be a revolving door at the moment. SOmeone in and someone out !!
Jervis is probably a better all round player at this point.
If he gets in foul trouble they are looking very small....

I like Gruber as a possible replacement while Knight rehabs.
I was looking to insert a gif of a rabbit being pulled out of a hat, although I don't know html.
I'm sure that is what Marvin will do.

What is the minimum amount of games one has to play to qualify for the playoffs?

I think the rule is that a new player cannot be registered once a team has played 75% of their games ... so any new player would be fine for Perth right now.
I still think Perth can definitely win the title.
lol blatche aint goin nowhere. getting paid $2.5 mill to play in china and have all the shots he wants, not to mention probably all the other bonuses he is getting. when his stint is over he is goin back to the nba too.

Jervis showed last year he is more than capable of filling in for Knight and make a significant impact on games. My only concerns are a) if he gets into foul trouble early b) Knight has been a huge focul point on offense . Jervis is somewhat a different player than knight and they may need to change their offensive structure.
Daniels need to step up big time and we need to secure a suitable backup for Jervis because running Jesse Wagstaff at the 5 won't work well against teams like NZ

I am not saying this is the end of the Wildcats season, but it is going to be very tough for them without him. If they win it with him out, they will go down as one of, if not the best NBL teams ever IMHO...

Trueman would be the most likely option I imagine. He would be somewhat familiar with the team and their plays.

Who else is around?
Trueman is "likely" in the sense that he's been called on before, and I assume he's probably not currently playing. However with Knight and Ross now out, and Hire replaced by Muo, Perth have the capacity and need to find someone better if they can.
