Anthony Drmic out for season
ESPN Story:
Boise State senior guard Anthony Drmic will miss the rest of the season due to an ankle injury, the school announced Tuesday.
Anthony Drmic was averaging 15 points per game prior to getting hurt and will apply for a medical hardship to play as a fifth-year senior.
The 6-foot-6 Drmic has sat out the last six games with a left ankle injury and will undergo surgery next week. He was averaging 15 points and five rebounds per game and will apply for a medical hardship to play next season as a fifth-year senior since he will have played less than 30 percent of the season.
"Anthony has really sacrificed for this program with how injured he has played throughout his career," Boise State coach Leon Rice said in a statement. "He is one of the all-time great competitors and we know if he could play and help this team he would. The silver lining is we have a great chance to get an all-conference player back next year totally healthy."
Drmic was a second-team All-Mountain West selection each of the past two seasons and ranks sixth in school history with 1,528 career points.
Boise State is 10-3 and opens league play against undefeated Colorado State on Wednesday.

I really hope he gets the medical hardship, would be a sad way to finish his college career this way.
