Albury/Wodonga sign second import Cory Dixon

The Bandits have announced the signing of their second import, Cory Dixon.

Dixon is a 6'7, 205lb power forward who played the last two years at the University of New Orleans (NCAA Div I).

Dixon averaged 13.5 points and 8 rebounds per game for UNO this season and was drafted by the Austin Spurs in the NBA D League.

Looks like a really handy pick up and rounds out the Bandits starting five really nicely.

They definitely seem to have a assembled a decent starting 5 & should do well if they can keep them fit.

They've also lost a lot in payne and duck as great contributing locals. Will be interesting to see how they go... once again it appears the men are taking up all the $ while the women will remain mediocre.

Yes, the women aspire to mediocrity.

Do the men have any decent locals left? Maybe de Koeyer & a couple of kids would be it. I wonder if Bogart-King & Harding will stick around knowing they'll be stuck on the bench most of the time.
