Ben Simmons produced a highlight play today by throwing the ball off the backboard and dunking before the opponent could grab the ball.

a) Credited with an assist
b) Noted for a missed shot attempt and an offensive rebound
c) none of the above
Or congratulated for assisting in lifting of the profile of Australian basketball on the international stage. Every little bit counts.

Superb play that. Can't recall an Aussie ever doing anything like this previously on the world stage.

Gerald Green did this exact play not long ago but from a little further out. Remember Vince and Tracey doing this but on the run, that was nasty.
