Australia's U21 men's team has wrapped up the Greek leg of its European tour with a thrilling 88-87 over Greece in Athens.
A small crowd witnessed an absorbing struggle between the two teams that Blagoj Janev sealed for the Australians with a tip in in the final minute.
Brad Newley top scored with 22 points, while Ben Allen had 17 and Aaron Bruce 12.
Australia started brilliantly and showed the Greeks the strength of their running game and pressure defence to lead 27-20 at the first break.
The Crocs kept the pressure on in the second to take a 49-39 lead into the main break, but the match turned into a see-sawing struggle when the players returned to the court.
Greece fought back to grab the lead with just over a minute remaining, but Allen drained a three-pointer soon after and Janev followed with his tip in to seal the victory.
The Crocs will now head to Slovenia where they will play two matches against the host nation, and one against Croatia.
Following that series they will fly to Canada for the Jack Donohue International Classic and then prepare for the World Championships Argentina.
