Who was Darren Rowe?

Because I have no life I just found out Darren Rowe is the only person to ever record a quadruple double in the NBL with 25pts, 17 boards, 11 assists and 11 blocks for Geelong v North Melbourne in 1990. Ive never heard of the bloke and I thought I knew everything, who was he?

Darren Rowe may or may not have been dunked on by Andrew Gaze. Just ask Cecil Exum because it definitely was not Cecil, who apparently was mistaken for Darren! One of the greatest Hoops threads of all time, go have a look if you can find it!

I think he played small forward and was a replacement for Vince Hinchin or Vince replaced him at Geelong

Daren Rowe (note spelling - Google him for post NBL achievements, is now a coach) was in a similar mould to Terry Dozier - long, lean and an exceptionally quick defender. Posted some massive dunks and was part of an exciting Supercats era. Top guy on and off court, think of a slightly (!) less aggressive Kevin Garnett.
