Good on him, SEABL is his ceiling, glad he is being contracted accordingly.

great - deserves his spot. THought he might get there in the NBL and starting to settle in. Pity Motum came along as he may be doing better !!
Not an NBL standard import but seemed like a decent guy and supposedly does well at SEABL level so good on him.
He isn't as good as Redhage, although it's funny to think many NZ Breakers fans would have been saying the same thing back in the day.

DQ had a similar skill set to Redhage in a few areas..injury and timing probably didn't help him.
That said Motum isn't helping us reight now.

Whats the rule on NBL players being classified as restricted. Is there a minimum number of minutes you have to play?
If they average over 18 mins a game from memory they're classified as restricted so they take 1 of the 2 full restricted player spots.
Each SEABL team can only have a maximum of three A, B or C restricted players - and no more than two A or B restricted players.
An A restricted player is any non-Australian required to hold a Foreign Players License.
A B restricted is any player who averages more than 18? minutes per game in the previous NBL/WNBL season before the January deadline or a Boomer/Opal, or played professionally in another League.
A C restricted player more than 12 mins NBL/WNBL.
What would Dandy do if Kickert goes down and Patton's minutes move up to 20 a game.
He has been playing well whenever he hits the floor. Would his contract state that it is only valid if he is a C restricted?
The av mins per game cuts of at the end of jan I think, so there's plenty of time for players to drop below or jump above their current restricted player category.
