Well, Bendigo/Ballarat/Geelong are ideal teams to suit up a team.
Bendigo has a bit of an advantage in grabbing local talent from all up north, ie Shepparton/Echuca/Swan Hill/Mildura.
They also have the ability to upgrade to a 4000 seat court I believe also.

Problem with all these basketball promises is it's the Libs making them, and it will take a bloody good effort by them to get up on Saturday.
Labor has also, it will happen regardless of who wins.
Logical place for an NBL team. Their WNBL and SEABL teams are of the greatest through their history. Big stadium in Bendigo as is. Also central hub for Echuca, Swan Hill, Kyneton etc.
Great news for Ballarat and Bendigo recently, but the second biggest city in Victoria is still languishing guys. The Mayor of Geelong would rather see a useless $1,000,000 Xmas tree floating in the bay than try to drum up financial backing for basketball.
