Best NBA and NBL blog/news sites

What are everyone's go-to blogs and news sites? I'm starting to spend more time sitting at a desk and looking for some fresh options.

I usually start off with Yahoo/BDL and RealGM but don't have any favourites following these.

I use ESPN's NBA scoreboard for following game stats and the only other place I really make a habit of checking is the NBA subreddit:

http://www.reddit.com/r/nba

r/NBA tends to have interesting/funny quotes, GIFs of key plays, the main news, etc. I often tweet stuff found on there from the Hoops account (@hoopsforum). Some of the comment threads have a few gems too.

I also read Boti's stuff when he tweets links to it.

There are obviously a range of NBA/NBL efforts from Australians like ATF, etc but I don't really read them unless I see the link on Twitter and think it will have an interesting angle or new rumour.

I don't listen to podcasts or watch video/panel shows as they're generally too slow paced. Complete nerd attitude, but with text I can skim and then get back to whatever I was doing.

NBA: NBC Sports Pro Basketball Talk for all NBA news and ESPN's NBA site for boxscores.

NBL: Boti Nagy's blog

Upvote for r/nba - links to the best of the rest and the comment section usually filled with gold too.

If you're looking for podcasts:
The Starters
Jalen and Jacoby
The Lowe Post
BS Report
Grizz & Tizz

The Podcast with Bruce Bowen is pretty decent as well if you're interested.

NBL content is pretty hard to come by but there are plenty of sites covering the NBA. I like DIME mag's website because it takes a different look at things and is a quick read. Actually, with Isaac, Boti does a good job with Aussie hoops.

It depends on what you like and how you want your content. Great thing about the internet is there's so many ways for the game to grow!

Boti's blog is so negative, if a neutral observer was reading it, the NBL would be gone by now, for someone with such a large bball voice he always talks about the negatives never anything half positive.

@ anon - I should've mentioned NBC Sports PBT, I'd forgotten all about it - I look at it all the time on my phone app, always interesting.

Thanks for the other suggestions, I'll check out the reddit stuff. Not a podcast person though.

If you only find negatives in Boti's writing, you aren't reading it all. And I think he writes for dedicated fans rather than randoms. Those people can read the NBL or club sites.

Hoopshype.com has links to stories from all over the NBA. Definitely the best one I've found.

Inside Hoops is pretty good too.

Anything Zach Lowe posts on Grantland: best NBA writer going around at the moment IMO. Mixes salary cap/signings, advanced analytics, video breakdowns and lots of other stuff together in deceptively simple fashion.
