Kings Vs Widlcats.
Good to see the Kings stay in touch with the Wildcats so far.
The Kings fans are very vocal. Giersch is still a terrible referee.

Just to get the ball rolling..
The referees are sooo bias and are favouring the Wildcats as usual and all the calls that they've made against Sydney have been wrong ;)

Good to see Ross get involved. A love tap doesn't deserve Ross' reaction.
This game is being called fairly. Damo on 3 fouls, Kings getting to the line when they attack.

Kings look like getting smashed.
No options other than Childress it seems for the Kings. As Carfino pointed out a short while ago, who will be an offensive threat for the Kings other than Childress. Cadee? Ellis? Garlepp possibly. Brandt? Duinker? and the list goes on. A long season ahead for the Kings and the Wildcats with their American roster roll on.

Excellent win by Perth. Won each quarter and held Sydney to 22 in the 2nd half.

16 in a row, I really can't think of its like, particularly in a salary capped league.

Moose Robbiliard can be thanked for a big chunk of that 16.

Not really a salary capped league when you have the marquee rule....

I was disappointed to see Ross get away with the push on Madgen. Sure, he probably deserved it, but the refs should know better than to let that retaliation go completely unpunished.

Did Perth fold recently?

Madgen should work on his shooting, he's no where near as good as he was prior to his injury.

The Kings look too small and don't shoot or rebound well - not a good combination. Childress carries them

I haven't watched many games this year, can Brandt and Duinker cut it in the NBL?

Kings, 36'ers & Hawks - just not going to be good enough.
Plus good to see another Cats win being applauded by the masses.

I think Brandt and Duinker can both have long term NBL careers, they're similar to where DJ and Nevill were at a few years ago.

Wilson the push is called inconsistency across the league and yes I agree...

Theatrical cartwheeling aside, there was very little in Ross' push on Madgen. Refs made the right call, pulled up Madgen and Ross, and told both of them to grow up and eff orf. Sorted the problem out and game continued.
Should have at least been a tech...
...on Madgen, for flopping.

Definitely should have been a tech on Ross, who was fired up and looking to go on with it for a little while after that incident too.

Oh rubbish, Ross and Garlepp playing 'hold-me-backs' from across two refs, ten meters, and a huddle does not a technical make. The only thing that makes the incident at all interesting was the past history of Wagstaff & Childress.
paul, did you not see Garlepp going on with it? Standing in full view of everyone, clearly challenging Ross to "come at me bro" is worse than Ross being pissed off with something.
I wouldn't have been surprised to see a tech on Ross for his bump. There wasn't much in it but Madgen did his best to sell it.

When a player pushes someone while the ball is dead, then continues on jumping around chirping at someone, it should be a tech. He mightn't have been the only candidate but he was the prime one.

Bah humbug, it was a nothing incident.
Elbow, push, play resumed.

When a Perth Wildcat is involved a molehill becomes a mountain.
Nothing to see here.
Duinker will not make it he has always had talent but has always been a bit on the soft side and is injury prone, Brandt will make it because he has some mongrel about him and is a tough kid always has been

I wish Brandt would hurry up & find his mongrel again then because he's looked more like a scared rabbit caught in the headlights in recent games.
another large win margin
sigh so boring nbl right now

beal and childress pretty good to watch.
most likely wouldda called knight and wagsaff for doing flophages and called flophage for a few fouls that were dangerous really, although they called one elbow foul
