So this may have been done already, but I'm not sure how to set up nba league pass with another country. Any tips

If you wait a week or so you should get 10-20% off ontop of the proxy trick.
Google 'nba league pass proxy' since it's probably not so savoury to have the instructions on this website.

It works exactly the same, once you have paid you turn the proxy off and log on like you normally would.

I know someone that has just done it via Argentina...works as per normal.

Depends on the exchange rate but you save about $140 australian
I did it last week. I used a proxy from (http://hola.org/) and signed up through the Argentina website.
It cost me 899 pesos, i.e. ~$120 AU.
Better than the $250 AU pricetag the NBA changes us.
It's absolutely ridiculous you can buy the same product through the exact same company at half the price.
Disclaimer: use hola at your own risk. I felt it was legit and I trusted it, but each to their own.
You have to sign up via a new email address (that hasn't been used on the NBA site) by the way.
I entered in my Australian address and home phone number, and it works fine.
Of course as it turns out I just happened to be holidaying in Argentina at the time when I signed up, wink wink nudge nudge ;).
