Wildcats released Muo play him anyway

In Friday nights home game against Wollongong the Wildcats played Mathiang Muo 1:59 (for 1 turnover) when on the eve of the season they released him from his 3 year contract to sign Earnest Ross to a 3 year deal.

With this and the five Americans on the roster thing have the Wildcats become the new Melbourne Tigers like under Seamus i.e. wield so much power they basically do what they like?

Just another anti wildcats post. Redhage is an Australian citizen, and Ross is from Guam. What about Woolongong, they have 2 imports and 2 naturalised players in Gruber and Ballinger, are you going to point that out as well.

Where do you get 5 wildcats from USA you fool, Muo was born in Sudan and fled sudan to Egypt then settled in Australia.

Continual anti wildcats posts, too many americans, too many coaches, too many people go to the games, stop your complaining.

East Coast bias - Perth have done nothing wrong. Get your facts right before bagging the lead organisation in basketball in Australia.

Anon : It's not different then when the Cats had Grace, Fisher, Crawford as naturalised Aussies as well as two imports. It was by the rules then and it's by the rules now and if your club had the opportunity to do the same then I'm sure they wouldn't hesitate and you wouldn't be questioning it.

Other clubs should aspire to be like Perth.
Muo's birthplace is not relevant under nbl rules he is an unrestricted player.

When did I say anything about Muo's birthplace?

Perth will like the Tigers did find ways to bend the rules. I don't care if the players are naturalised. Maybe the Wildcats can have 10 Aussies playing for them soon. Nothing wrong with that is there?

For all intensive purposes, Redhage is American and whilst Ross was born in Guam he is no more a Guam national than Kyrie Irving is Australian.

I'm not hating, I couldnt give a stuff to be honest - but that's the reality.

Who cares, Muo is terrible anyway, losing Hire is bigger than gaining Muo.
