For what it is worth the Clipper Commentators were raving about Joe.
Said he has all the skills and is always in the right spot.
They said the coaches are very happy with his camp so far.
Obviously he hasn't shown much in games yet, but he could be that glue player teams need off the bench.
Does a bit of everything and is happy to play D, pass the ball to the stars and take open shots.
He did get owned by Gallinari on one play though :), shook him off balance and drove to the ring with ease.
I think he will be the 14-15th man all year and if he shows enough he could get another contract and jump to rotation backup3rd string SF next year.
Having said that besides Barnes, there are no stand-out backup SF options.
CDR has been around for a while and never stepped up.
Bullock didn't do much last season and shot really badly, 35% FG 30% 3pt.
Turk is on his last legs and will just be used as a shooter, when he is not injured.
So who know if Joe starts showing more and more as the season progresses he could get some minutes Especially since the Clips should be blowing out half the teams, 70-80% of the east :)
