a) if this game is even being shown here in Aus [FOX guide says no]
b) if answer to a) is indeed 'no' does enyone know where i can get a copy of the game?

it is a pain in the arse

foxtel magazine guide had the game on tonight at 19.30.

this is preprogrammed several weeks ahead.

but I looked at the fox web site the last few days and they have softball on.

I was really pissed re this and rang foxtel and got some girl that had transferred from the local supermarket check out to foxtel call centre.

I am blowed if I know what they are up to.

the missed the nba and wnba all star game but you get 8 hours of drag racing and 2 hours of duck hunting.

in the front part of the monthly foxtel magazine they have a break down of sport programmes for the month - often basketball is left out.
then you go through the day to day of espn and find 6-10 wnba games live and replayed later on.

it is like seeing a pizza deal advertised, ringing up and ordering it, then when it is delivered you have hot dogs.

I am pissed with foxtel - i may get on to consumer affairs - they sold me foxtel 6 years ago saying no ads - now they are sneaking in more ads - so they double dip - ads and subscription.
however if you read the fine print nowdays - they do not promise no ads.

the other annoying thing is if you go to wnba web site - they claim "wnba all star game on in australia on espn"

that was never the case

HOWEVER - i am in a good mood as it looks like we will not get Laura's game tonight - which is a pity as she usually gets minutes against minnesota (but they have been playing weel lately) and has had her best results against them.
BUT - if you go to WNBA.COM and register (free)they have about 50 games (in their entireness - 2 hrs of broadband veiwing with intros and time outs etc etc - not just highlights)
and a found a few games with laura running around that were never scheduled on ESPN

so go to wnba.com and look at broadband season pass

all i can suggest is watch foxtel website / magazine weekly for games - they are there - but at odd times

interestingly enough the finals for WNBA seem to get good coverage on ESPN - saw them all last year

looks like laura's team will go close - so some definite viewing in a month or two

try contacting connecticut sun via web site re a copy of game

just looked at wnba web site - and she had her best minutes - five so far

the connecticut team are doing so well and will go close for sure

erin getting drafted and laura getting signed to this team is the absoloute basketball complement

remember they are in UNCONN basketball territory as well - the absoloute cream of the crop in college girls ball

Laura looked pretty good. She played solid defense, she brought intensity but not out of control. It looked like the SUN were really trying to get her some shots.

The lay up should have gone for her first bucket.
