Facts are not Rumours sheesh
Rumour has it women comp will have a fair amount of transfers occuring a couple clubs looking to spend some coin.. North $$ Norwood as usual trying to retain a couple who are thinking about a change of scenery, Forestville having to look around as well.
Woodville struggletown same as West
In the Men
Not much shift might be a couple teams who pull a few signature players out of the woodworks for a few games.
Gibbo we know will be f/ville but theres 2-3 other from what I've heard

Joey Wright and Rashad Tucker to come out of retirement and all Sixers except for Tom Daly to play at Southern and Chris Anstey to coach!
I'll Have what He's havin

^ What you on??? Daly is a done deal transfer from Sturt to Southern came over the BSA desk this week...
how can Daly transfer from a club he hasn't played at for years, he is currently listed at the 36ers and they would have gotten the transfer from Mt Gambier
busted.
Added games to be played on Wednesday spells the end of reserves and U23 for some clubs and probably the end of a lot of careers. If true can only be an idea conceived in the front bar at midnight on a Friday night. Expecting players to play twice weekly CABL games is a joke isn't it?

I assume most clubs would then choose not to train twice. Meaning some commitment just more games and less training.
The proposed new format has my vote
More games over a condenced period
Also Senior Reserves the must have second team not U23's
U23's still exist though
I to would assume less trainings more games through the season propper
Hope it gets implemented
wtf

Where is this proposed format? If true, makes more sense than the current 5 month pre season for 18 games.

Shaw taking over west women
What happened to Hopgood?
Must have been all the finals Glenn has won in his previous two ABL stints that got him the job.

did you apply for the gig anon?
or you did and didn't get the job?
Thankless job why anyone would want to do it is beyond me

are you referring to job in general? would argue that dependent on combination of club, coach and players job can be very rewarding.

Someone getting a bit defensive it seems cst.
Surely you could enlighten us as to what history suggests about the potential improvement bought to the club.

is 'cat' and 'mat' that difficult to spell?
speaks volumes
I find it interesting you feel the need to avoid the question cot.
Speaks volumes...
go ask the selection Committee
or better yet wait till the season starts before the character assassination begins
maybe it is the accent?

Jacob Holmes to play for Norwood , big cash being thrown around by the Flames.
You mean the Norwood which cries poor to BSA looking for handouts? Maybe that is why some clubs work to a self imposed (but not mandated) salary cap.
There's a few clubs around which promise the earth to juniors but when it comes to the crunch they look outside.
What 36er was seen at Wayville chatting to Andy and Dickel. Probably discussing what role his wife will have on the court this year!
Norwood's juniors are in worse shape than ever before. They have hardly any of their div 1 teams looking like making finals.
They have a lot of teams, I suppose because they need to collect their fees to prop up their senior program.
They've been buying CABL success at the expense of their juniors for years and it looks like it won't be changing anytime soon.

Money might be there Jack and the Men were very competitive last season, you never know.

Norwood had a competitive team last season. If Holmes goes to Norwood, then they should be right in the mix.
I heard Norwood was after KD but the way the A$ is tanking it was too big a hit to his hip pocket!
The salary cap wasn't an issue as he was going to be paid as the receptionist
Won't somebody out MARS way please think of the juniors?!

Doyle and Creek coached U14 Norwood Boys this season at a game ???
Norwood have completely lost the plot. No junior players or coaches of any quality want to go there anymore, so instead they add loads of domestic level players to fill up the lower divisions so they can collect huge amounts of fees, which in turn are used to fund CABL teams to keep a few egos intact.
Basket case.
Atem athem , Jordan dodman, Shane breheny and gun import to eastern. Women have picked up Tess too.
