2014/2015 NBL television broadcast schedule?

Does anyone know when this will be released?

I have tweeted the NBL a while ago but got no reply. Just by looking at the schedule you can guess what two games will be shown in round one. The Friday night game will most likely be Perth vs NZ. The Sunday game will be Melbourne vs Cairns

I heard in the last year of the TEN/ONE deal they had to show nearly every game live, what happened to that idea?

Yeah that was true originally Luke but then One decided they aren't a sports channel anymore and relegated the NBL to this current format.

Dam that's sad to see, it's looking like a big and exciting season with all the imports and could have been big with lots of promotion and live games on tv but then TEN comes over and poops on the NBL :/

Ten and BA renegotiated a couple of years back. BA allowed Ten to show fewer games, in exchange for a better timeslot on the Friday night and the live game on Ten on Sundays (as opposed to the games being at 10.30pm on ONE).

Good to see Cairns get ripped off again. only 1 home game. Cant wait to see Sydney's empty stadium every second week! Looks great on tv!

The NBL is a great product but needs to do a better job of selling itself. TV stations want rating pullers. The NBL needs to demonstrate it IS a ratings puller. (Alternatively they need to find businesses who will sponsor the TV coverage in the hope that the improved TV coverage this causes will generate more direct sponsors to the various teams.) If TEN don't see the value in NBL as great reality TV, sports entertainment, local content etc with minimal cost involved in covering then maybe Nine or 7 will.
But nothing will get TV coverage unless it makes good business sense. We need the NBL to be seen as valuable enough that we can auction the TV rights like AFL have done.

@coach: you should be happy with that solitary home game.

Townsville doesn't get a single one!

ZERO HOME GAMES.

Woo.

Good to see Townsville with zero with their pathetic stadium. Glad it won't be shown on national television.

I hope Fox get the NBL back with the treatment it got before the last low budget season. They need more content now with Fox Sports 4 & 5 launching in November.

NBL should surely go to Foxtel after this season as it is not worthy enough to have it on FTA but live sport is crucial.

I think NBL will do all that they can to get it on FTA. Nick MArvin has already said that the NBL expects all/most NBL games to be shown live on Free to air next year.
