Mavs get the Double

Mavericks Men and Women were winners tonight at Barker.

In the womens game, a brilliant 21-0 start 8 minutes in set the pace for the game. To the young Centrals team credit, the fought hard going on a few runs. Mavs won though 87 - 50.

The mens game was not a pretty game with plenty of turnovers. Mavs skipped out to a lead, but Centrals led by Paul V drew back to be even (i think) at one stage late in the fourth. The game came right down to the last minute, with Bungey getting a smile, no wait, a dunk to seal the game. Mavs win 77 - 74

Not a Bad result for Centrals Considering no Wilkey or Watson ... Good chance next week for Ricky to give some More court time to the Likes of Terry Harvey Brock and coffey he arnt young any more and are fighting to keep there postition on the squad ... Which is in danger of being taken by a good group of younger players ...

I would like to know who is in this good group of younger players.
I don't think Brock will be getting anymore court time as he quit to spend more time on studies about two months ago.

well younger Player's i was talking bout would be people Like Ben Elliot Kyle Pavlich who are knocking on the door for getting more court time ... I was unaware brock Quit .. Ashley Nitske coming would have hurt his chances of making the team it was bound to make it hard .
