I watched the Kings/Orions game after Mt Gambier's game finished and thought the stream was pretty good. The commentary from the OTT Kings homers is a bit much though.

Troy Gillenwater from the Orions was the best player on the floor and did a massive dunk over a Kings DP late in the game. A bit odd seeing Josh Childress sitting on the sidelines but not playing, massive fro though!

Interestingly former Kings star import Chris Williams used to play for the Orions a couple of seasons ago.

I said early on that they seem too small, but was shot down... Unless they pick up their D and stop fouling (hopefully this is just a 'new to the NBL' thing and both Duinker and especially Brandt will adjust quickly) they're going to struggle to go up against the likes of Gladness, Kickert, Jervis, Ibekwe and Pledger and even have their work cut out for them with more experienced Knight, Petrie, Trigger, etc...

The stream was especially great as they were working with a local production company, they did the replays and whathaveyou, was a really fantastic idea and any streaming they do in addition to their commentating audio feed really craps all over the effort any other team is doing in the pre-season... A really big two thumbs up for all involved... Hopefully the feed from Alexandria tonight is just as good as even though I'll be at the game, it would be good to catch some highlights (if there are any), especially if Childress suits up...
