The Boomers crushed Finland 80-57 in France earlier this morning.

Recap now up on PnR:

Finland crushed by the Boomers in Strasbourg

Unlike the previous exhibition against Finland in Helsinki where they fell short after forcing overtime, the Boomers were able to open up an early first quarter lead and where never headed. Leading by just 2 points at quarter time, Australia then lifted a gear and powered away to never again be threatened in what turned out to be a blowout.

Thanks for the write up LC. Dante Exum only took 1 shot in 20 mins, after last game going 1/8 against France, was he not looking aggressive or just being a facilitator?

"He is just not up to the level"

I'd say he's more up to the level than a guy like Gibson or even Goulding to an extent.

Based on what? Exum hasn't done anything at the pro level yet.

I'm basing on the warm up games.

Exum has made some nice plays and gotten to the rim with fair ease.

Gibson has done basically nothing and Goulding will make maybe 1-2 3 pointers per game but other than that do basically nothing.

Exum is a beast

Exum has been easily beating his opponents off the dribble. He has been getting into the paint but then not looking to score - instead looking to dish it off. He has not got the balance right just yet...

Not sure what the coaching staff are asking him to do...

I think Exum is still finding his feet at this level of play - I like the fact that he isn't trying to jack up lots of shots. the benefit of finding the right plays for the team would be a better outcome for the boomers
