The Koreans won G1 64-58, the Tall Blacks getting a bit trigger happy shooting 3/23 from long range.
Abercrombie led scorers with 12 and Fotu 11, while Frank and Horvath both missed with niggles. Next game is Thursday.

Wouldnt be a pleasant locker room to be in post game for the kiwis.
Im going to assume you mean South Korea... theyre really not a very strong basketball team.
If you mean North Korea the result is perfectly understandable: Kim Jong Un would have obviously scored 100 points and dunked from the halfway line to clinch it late in the 4th.

Great result TBs. Perfect for our prep. I mean that.
1. Abercrombie hopefully found a bit of rhythm in his game after his long lay off.
2. Good mins for guys like Loe, Fotu etc.
3. Reminder not to live by the three ball (perhaps that is Vucinic's plan though..we don't have an inside game so operate more from perimeter).
4. Good defence to give up 64 points on the road.
5. Don't want us to peak early. Build up slowly but happy our defence is there from game 1 of tour.

Vucinic will be trying out combinations and the Korean refs weren't giving NZ any love
Result is irrelevant at this stage but really should beat Korea at anytime.

The Tall Blacks won the second game in Seoul 71-70 on a Kirk Penney buzzer-beating triple! They win the overall series 3-2.
Corey Webster had 13, Mika Vukona 11 & 11 and Rob Loe 10 points. Horvath and Frank didn't play.
