Sixers Development Players for 2015
Any word on who the Sixers will be offering DP spots to this upcoming season?
Any hot tips for local players?

Have any young locals had a year worthy of a DP spot?
Will Joey look to SEABL...he seems to like his young guys playing in that league.
Doyle only one i can think of off top of me head, he was solid in the SEABL early rounds but is very undersized and was scouted/figured out later in the year hence the drop off in his numbers.

I hope we keep Sims, I liked his athleticism.
Sims won't be back. Grade A nutcase. How he got there in the first place is a mystery.

I'd like to see McDaniel from Southern out there. Don't know how that would affect possible college eligibility though...

I think as long as he doesn't hold a roster spot (first 10) he's ok. Confirm anyone?
If he signed any sort of contract with a professional team I think he'd be in trouble eligibility wise.

Matthew Lycett was on the fringe one season. He has had a great ABL season and certainly should be on Joey's radar.

Can be a DP and not have it affect college aspirations...unless DP's get paid - then it would be an issue?
Ben Madgen was able to do it though, so unless rules have changed...?

Sam Johns from Southern should be if not already a DP. Believe has no aspirations for college.
DP's do get paid a token amount, I think with Madgen was he was a squad member not a DP so didn't get paid and thus went to college.
I should add DP's can only play in home games unless replacing an unavailable player from the 10 man roster for road games, squad members are solely practice players that can't play in any games.

Is it true that Nelson Larkins from QLD has become a DP?

Young Mr Larkins Brisbane club has posted that he has indeed been selected as the Adelaide DP. Fine effort for a out of town kid.

They can sign a contract that states they are amateur status, and are not accepting payment in anyway, they cannot be in top 8 either I think, and as long as that's all done correctly it does not effect college. It used to years ago but not anymore .
Has Joey got no idea about talent in SA? he keeps going back to QLD to recruit.
