Tai Wesley - NBL prospect

Could be a really good pickup for a team.

6"7, big guy, strong, experienced.

I know the Breakers are looking at him.

Recently played for Southland in the NZNBL. Has Fijian heritage and under the new import rules, would not be classified as an import.

Extremely impressive college stats - played at Utah State (avg. 14 and 8 in his Senior year)

In fact, he averaged double digits pretty much every college season.

I can't believe it's taken so long for players with Oceania passports to not be considered imports.

Agreed Curtley.
Great move by Pauly Henare recruiting him to the Sharks and would be a decent NBL player for sure.
Breakers are also looking at Taranaki Mountain Airs Import PF Suleiman Braimoh for 2014/15.
