Supposedly Gortat was someone the Heat were somewhat keen on, so this rules out that plan. No options, all guaranteed - will keep him in Washington until he's 35 years old.
Played well in the play-offs so deserved a pay day.

Good signing in the short term.
He played really well for the Wizards in the playoffs.
Only concern would be paying him 12 mil a year when he is 35 years old.
Brings back memories of Ben Wallace's contract & how quickly he went down hill when he turned 32/33.
Wizard just need to resign Ariza or sign a good wing to replace him & they should be back in the playoffs next year.

Warriors addition or Shaun Livingston is a pretty good pick up for Golden State.
Due to his size, he brings a whole new dimension to their rotation.
Only concern is he also has a history of injuries.

Yea Livingston is a great get imo,
I was thinking the Thunder should try and get him and put him along side Westbrook to play Westbrook at sg Wade/Monta Ellis style and increase the ball movement and basketball iq in the PG spot.
Looks like the Warriors have done this with Curry, does this mean they are now more likely to move Klay Thompson along with the other pieces and get Kevin Love.
