Yeah, when they go to redo their website, all these URLs are going to be useless, just like when the website stuffed up last time and they had to quickly fix it...

But back on topic... An obvious (re-)signing, but it will be interesting to see how they go with the remainder of the team, as while they've been ok with imports, it's really the depth of locals that could improve with the extra injection of cash... Will the Hawks be loyal to all of last years team that have been waiting patiently, or will they make the hard choices and try to upgrade some Aussie talent?

Is there much Aussie talent still available that haven't already signed with other teams.

Not really.

Teams will be locking in multi-year deals where appropriate to make life difficult for expansion teams too.

This was a huge problem for the Kings when they came back, especially the lateness to which they did it... Practically everyone (good) was sewn up and it was only that they got Jules to come back and really lucked out with Madgen that they made any sort of impression... It's good that the cut off for new teams is July with announcements to be made by October, so new teams (if any) will have a full season to prepare/promote/recruit... Although a lot of teams have locked players in to 2+1 year deals, which could make life hard for them...

Actually, looking at my FA tracker, players either picking up their option for this coming season or on 1 year deals (with another year option) below (subject to change, some teams are mum on their contract lengths):

Gibbo
Peach
Teys
DJ
Big Red (? what was his new deal, just his option?)
Trigger
Mitch Young
Goulding (?)
Wortho
Walker
Pledger?
Vukona?
Madgen (1+1)
Ellis
Blanchfield

Adam Ballinger is a FA now after being released by the Tigers. I think he could be a solid pick up as a back up big man.
