NBA Finals MVP

Could LeBron become only the second player from the losing team to win the Finals MVP?

He is clearly the Most Valuable Player on the floor. If you take him out of the Heat side they would have been swept. I think the Spurs could take any of their guys out and still be a chance to win the series.

It's a shame you can't award it to a coach!

I personally don't agree with a player from a losing team winning finals MVP as great as James is.
Leonard has been the difference in the last two games.

Parker has been very very good, all series.

Diaw is my pick. Leonard has had 2 good games but Diaw has been consistent all series on both ends

Diaw for me too, he has been such a catalyst for their offense, and that is what is destroying the Heat right now.

Individual awards mean sweet FA!

Kevin Durant was the MVP of the season...only thing he did well this post season was give a good speech! Meanwhile, him and his side kick are probably playing dress ups together, while the rest of the team stand around and watch...just like on the court!

Who cares!

I agree with the Diaw calls, his interior passing is unbelievable.
That behind the back pass to Splitter in game 4 was awesome.

However ESPN, see this differently.
They have Diaw at number 8 on their rankings.

Could well be decided by the remaining game(s) - few candidates at this point. I wouldn't be rewarding any Heat player when the success so far is coming from outstanding team play. I like Leonard and Diaw so far.

Leonard for mine. He has to guard the best of the best as well as kicking ass with his offensive game!

You're right KET Spurs do need one more win but Miami need three more. Sticking with Leonard could change after next game.

If Kawhi Leonard plays well in game 5, he is the obvious choice, but so far he has only played well in games 3 and 4. Diaw is my MVP, but his stats haven't really been up to finals MVP standards. I find that the LeBron being finals MVP is preposterous, the only guy to ever win finals MVP on the losing team was Jerry West, and he averaged 38 PPG and 8 Assists per game! LeBron's stats don't compare to those. I really, really wish you could give the finals MVP to everyone on the team, this finals performance has been an amazing team performance!

Easy way to settle this:

sportsbet have Miami at no chance of winning the series
they also have LBJ at no chance for finals MVP
and they also have Leonard and Duncan at even favourites by a long shot.

Whoever plays best between Duncan and Leonard in the next game will be finals MVP.

There's more to a game than stats. I hate how stats are the be all and end all of a players ability or impact

Pipe dream ahead, Miami wins next 3 games and takes out the series.... MVP then will be ?????

I know it's a million to one, but play with the idea and tell us how you think this could happen….
