Chris Goulding is heading to the LV Summer League with the Dallas Mavericks.

Unfortunately I don't see him obtaining a spot on the Mav's roster with Ellis, Ledo and Ellington all salaried at SG for next season, with the possibility of Carter re-signing as well.
Good luck to him all the same! Hopefully an NBA team identifies him and offers a training camp position.

As much I used to think Goulding wouldnt fit an NBA team im sure that someone will take a punt on his shooting.
At worst he will have a season or two warming the bench and becoming better before heading to Europe.
At best he will become a role player used to come on and bring energy and quick scoring power.

Ellis and Ledo are the only locks for next season.
Mavs may trade Ellington for more cap space or in any trades they make.
Ellington barely played in the second half of the season.
But yeah SG isn't really an area of need, but Chris would be a 15th man type signing so position may not come into it much at that stage.
They would sign him for development in the D-League and hope that he improves and proves himself against NBA athletes.

Mavs will also be playing Ledo a lot in Summer League, so hopefully Chris can play next to him or his minutes may be be limited.

Im not sure Chris Goulding is good enough of a shooter to get a role based on that alone...
He needs a lot of shots and possession to find rhythm.
