Round out all the mainland state leagues, the QBL gets underway this weekend.
It was about time the sunshine state got their own thread!

I guess most 36ers fans are hoping Willie Farley's team goes all the way!
Derek Rucker is going to make a few cameos for Gladstone, Dusty Rychart plays for Brisbane, Sam Mackinnon is apparently going to play for Northside with Steve Broom, Willie Farley with Toowoomba, Brad Williamson, Peni Nasalo & Chris Cedar are with Rockhampton, Michael Cedar is in Mackay, Matt Smith and Kerry Williams are with Cairns, Scott McGregor is playing with GC - lots of former NBL players in the QBL to go along with the current ones.
I forgot Kingma at Rocky, Martin Iti at Ipswich & Jason Aucoin at GC

Scotty Mac is concentrating on his job as a delivery driver of wholesale food for shops around the Gold Coast.
Steve Broom I remember him in the NBL Dunk Comp at the last ASG in Adelaide, 2005 maybe?
He used to be a DP for the Bullets.
Tips for championships are Mackay to win again int he girls. Especially with 3 yanks on the team.
Rockhampton to repeat in the mens but will be close with Mackay and Brisbane
