a $.05 comment, in my opinion, I do not believe the coach would be under pressure at this stage.
Naturally that situation could change if the performances do not improve. Especially if they don't improve when Lester does finally take the court.
The Boomers performance on Saturday night against Diamond Valley was less than impressive.
Reviewing the game statistics it appears that the team had a "brain fart" in the last quarter, only shooting at 17% and their offensive rebounding was just a horrible number for the game.
All credit to Diamond Valley once they got a run on they certainly didn't let up.
For the Boomers some of the individual shooting percentages, for the key players, were definitely below par. (0-7, 0-1, 5-8 in 35mins) and (3-11, 0-6, 0-4 in 34mins)
While the result appeared to be better on Sunday, against Ringwood, although not achieving a win, a 1 pt loss initially appears much more respectable. However, looking at the game statistics again there are a couple of key players whose individual performances were definitely not at a championship standard. (0-8, 0-0, 0-0, in 23 mins)
Again offensive rebounds were terrible with only 5 for the game - definitely an area which need some improvement.
Really looking forward to seeing how L Strong and T Varmall work together on court, could change the entire dynamic of the team - for the better!
Let's not blame the coach if he hasn't be able to get the team he recruited on the court.
