Great start to Under 18 Div 1 Girls season

One game postponed because BSA forgot about the Mt Barker show and one game forfeited by Southern.

This is supposed to be the premier Div and season for basketball in this state. Why would you want to pay fees and train then you cant even get to have a game.

With Easter, school holidays and byes you may have 3 games in the next 6 weeks if you lucky.

Whats worse is the rumor is Southern will play 4 girls in Div 3 that played Div 1 in summer and are in their ABA squad.

Is this even allowed?

Will BSA stand up and say in the best interests of the Competition and to avoid byes in Div 1 they will play in Div 1.

Is it time to switch to netball.

Stop picking on a group of 15 and 16 year old girls who have had no control over what has happened !!!!!!
Pick on BSA if you like but I think with all the crap that has been on here lately about a certain coach, a particular team and club it is time to give them a break!!!
In other words shut the F up
I am so sick of it, it is very tempting to invite any of you faceless/ nameless people to meet face to face to discuss this any further!!!!!!

The original intent of the post was to point out that BSA need to do something not start another lest bash the Tigers. God knows we have seen enough of those.

Its Div 1 and you cant be having forfeits, byes and postponed games.

And I agree, it is all BSA fault that Tigers are self imploding-/ how bloody stupid are some people? BSA don't want forfeits. It was the Tigers who caused a forfeit.
Was it that hard to work out?

If Tigers would have some guts they would stay in div 1 and don't give other teams a bye. You said barely beat South........at least they stick with it,stay positive and are picking up players,although they have not won a game.They are not saying we have no bench so we play div 2 .Think about the comp and your club,who will come and play for you if you have no div 1 team?????

hahaha tigers really have the guts to say that they would still beat south after they lost 7 players from the squad. its such a shame that the rest of the div 1s have to play div 3 but they should toughen up and continue to play in div 1.south took girls from div 2 and 3 and made a div 1 team, why cant tigers do the same? tigers still have 4 div 1 players while south had none.. tigers should step up to the plate and get what they deserve.. if they can still beat south div 1s than they shouldn't be backing out. if they back out netball isn't the sport they should be doing, bull riding is..maybe then they will learn to take the bull by its horns.

Everyone just needs to stop targeting tigers, it wasn't their choice to go down a div.
they don't have a proper coach so what's the point in playin div 1. All it's going to do is make them better, bring their confidence up from winning game and prove you all that they are a good team , especially when they do come back into div 1!
