Midnight Basketball for youth should be supported

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/messenger/north-northeast/salisbury-councils-midnight-basketball-program-in-doubt-after-sa-police-walk-out/story-fni9ll1r-1226840795369

Does anyone know why the local law officers were pulled out of this community program?

Hard to keep such programs going at the best of time, sad to read such articles in the news...

Not sure how useful it would be, but I'm happy to promote this program on Hoops or promote anyone who can contribute significant financial support for it. Sounds like it's a positive thing for the community.

I've done some work with them in the past couple of years. It's a fantastic program and the children really enjoy it. It would be a real shame to see it go.

More councils should be investing in programs like this one.

Preventative measures that create social cohesion aren't favoured as much as quick fix solutions by funding bodies.
