Horsham SEABL Tournament

Anyone got their take on the SEABL practice games that took place in Horsham at the weekend?

Understand all team's weren't at full strength - who were the standout players of the tournament?

Nunawading were eventual winner's. how did all team's fair?

Not sure, I saw Albury V Canberra though, Canberra's centre import is going to struggle. Canberra won by 6

Nunnawading were 20+ points better than the next best side. Add Creek and Greer, they will be a tough tough tough side.
Mt Gambier were depleted player wise, Sutton and import only SEABL min players (even had to get horsham boy Pickert to fill in for them) still managed to finish 2nd.
Bendigo looked close to full strength with both imports playing, played good in patches. Will definatly be up there in season.
Ballarat -20 against all 3 teams, import average. Were missing Fisher. Long season ahead for the miners is my guess!

One game doesnt make an import. Most of them start off average and pick it up from there.Staff will be ok.

Did the Gunners lose anybody of note other than Gynes to Geelong?

Any box scores available for the Horsham tournament or Gunners vs Bandits?

BJ Jenkins has been very good in NWBU. Tyrone Lee has been soso. Jenkins will post numbers in SEABL but Lee wont be a big scorer.

with Mt Gambier only having 2 or 3 of there regular players in attendance they must have been pretty impresive or alternatively their kids are going to be something!

@Anon......for all reports it appears most teams were pretty poor/lacked full line up's.

Wouldn't read into it to much in terms of kids development etc just take it as a few glorified training hit outs with the development kids getting time when in all likely hood they never touch the timber come round 1

Mt Gambier was the runner up to Shepp in CBL finals so they do have some talented kids coming through it shouldnt be a suprise
