Waverley signed Bridgewater
Ringwood have Dougher coming back and signed another guard as an import. Latham comes over from Bulleen. They have also lost Sam Belt.
Any news on Corio Bay? They were big with signings last off season.
Whisper that there will be major changes at Corio bay. Two new imports to go with Hicks, Rebula and Reardon. Interesting to see who else makes the roster.
Osborne not playing this year at all, has moved to Melbourne and doesn't want to travel down
Bridgewater is passed it, sorry a waste of money for Waverley I think.
Isn't Osborne over in the US playing college basketball anyway?

Bridgewater is a popor choice by Waverley....he hasn't had a impact in Big V or SEABL for 4 seasons.
If the Boomers have picked up Cuffe who is at Eltham?? Cuffe pretty much carried them all year as without him they wouldn't have be competitve at all.
Corio will be interesting to see if they keep pouring the cash in now that Osborne is over in USA and not coming back!
No Osborne = No money for Corio! That family bankrolled the club!

Bulleen look pretty solid...pretty much the same Core that made the 2012 GF against Ringwood so they should go close.
Eltham will really need the import to be good if they are carrying the kids....that said Werribee, Hawthorn, Sherbrooke & McKinnon won't be any good so they'll be competitive with those teams.
Haven't heard much out of Hume with new coach but same imports....hopefully Copeland can do some recruiting!

I think hume have the same imports plus yuseff from bulleen. hawthorn have an import as well. what about The Melbourne Tigers?
Eltham has lost young players josh Dobbie tom Fairbrother and mitchell craze also import Dave Buchberger is gone. Johhny lister is returning and a few of the youth league guys have stepped up

Lester is miles of citizenship, he's still applying for residency.

It looks like Waverley and Ringwood are the teams to beat this year.

Tim Brook playing SCM? He was a struggler in Div 2 over the past 3 years. Mustnt mind sitting on the pine!
Tim will be a good defender and slasher at that level. Played pretty well while at Sandy a few years back doing just that. Not gonna light up the score board but will contribute in other ways.

Yeah, Tim's the sort of guy wholl do the same thing at different levels. Doesnt have the game to dominate in Div 2, but has the game to play a role in SCM.
Well said Paul, Ask him to do the dirty work and play defense on the main guy and he will do it. Any coach that tries to turn him into a high scoring player wont have much luck.
Bulleen will be pretty good. Solid players there.
he is a overrated defender though.. sure he looks good but he isn't up the SCM level, he will get murdered

So no Norton, Hutichson, Williams, Walker, Trevaskis. Thats half the team gone from last year. Osborne is currently playing college in America and apparently will play, but he won't do any of the pre-season/practice games/first couple of rounds. So Round 1 will see Hicks, Reardon, Osborne and Rebula defend last years title. The 2 imports won't be good quality, no where near e-will from last year. My bet is they'll be work visa jobs to cut costs. I'd say Headlam will come from Supercats, read that he wasn't signed again by Supercats.

No signing news, no announcement on coaching staff (they had 4 last year, any of them coming back), not looking great. But who knows, maybe a lot is happening behind the scenes?
