What are peoples thoughts on females coaching men's teams? Are there any guys that have played under a female coach, and any problems / positives with it? Other than Sonya Knight with the Pioneers are there any others and have any been as successful?

She was successful, but she also had an awesome team that she couldn't win a championship with. Which is all that really matters

its no different than playing under a male coach. they want to win just as much as any other coach n try to get the best out of their players. male or female it makes no difference. rather pointless topic

Knight has been a great coach at Mount Gambier. Although this year hasnt been the best for the team it was always going to be hard losing so many players and then players coming in late and underdone. She has already won a national championship and she knows her basketball. You just need to know her and you would see that she is one of the best coaches in the state without doubt! She should have considered more for the Lightning job!
Its tough under a female coach, very different than playing under a male. Different attitude in the locker room basically. Alot more relaxed with a male coach ! And i am speaking from experience.
