Ok Poindexters, I am going to throw out a challenge to you all. It's early on in the season and we have all had a look at some of the teams in the NBL.
Can you predict the first, second and third fives?
To make it interesting, I'll get a bottle of red on the table and at the end of the season, who-ever is closest can collect it. (might have to use Isaac as the judge and intermediary)

Currently, the first five is:
Ervin
Goulding
Ennis
Worthington
Ogilvy
With Clarke, DJ, etc close behind. I think four of those guys will still be there at the end of the season, but Worthington's position might be up for grabs, potentially by DJ or Redhage.
Bit tough guessing the next two teams at this stage, but how about:
Ervin
Goulding
Ennis
Redhage (competition at spot, but Perth will have a strong record)
Ogilvy
Wilson (other chances here are K Johnson or Beal)
Clarke (team may struggle)
Pace (likely to be best player on an average team)
Worthington (first team chance)
D Johnson (strong first team chance IMO)
K Johnson (NZ have to improve)
Beal (unless Madgen comes home strong)
Carmouche (as above)
Conklin (not really many better alternatives)
Pledger (will be steady)
Other chances: Blanchfield, Abercrombie, Tiggs, Madgen, Wilkinson.

It will be hard this year. Ennis at risk of not completing the season with his NBA contract. Goulding having a stella year should think about making some room in the pool room for an MVP trophy.
