The move from the Boomers to Dandenong has brought out the best in Kunek through the early rounds, averaging 20.8 points (#2 in WNBL) at a remarkable 57% from the field (#3), 60% from beyond the arc (#1) and 90% from the free throw line (#3).
It was by no coincidence that this outstanding October from Kunek was the catalyst for the Rangers going 5-0 to start the season, including a convincing Round Four win over local rivals the Melbourne Boomers.
