After watching games lasts night I am really concerned the gap between the top couple of teams and the rest is just getting bigger - especially on the girls side !!
We hear this every year I know but even after one round it looks as if the usual suspects will dominate the comp and continue to attract more players from 'weaker' clubs !

Have the refs abandoned the 3 second rule??? Ogilvy was pitching a tent and having s'mores at some stages during that game last night. The ref seem content on calling mister meaner calls. 1 ref tonight in particular was whistle happy. But I suppose u can't see everything in a game.

Doubt it - Forestville probably have the best team (one game in summer means nothing) but Norwood, Sturt, Centrals and South all have pretty good teams too. Woodville should be okay too. Not a massive gulf like in some other grades.
Either way, it was one game, don't get too excited. What is with some parents?

Are forestville and Sturt big? Is this why they're regarded as the teams to beat?

What the heck is going on in U18 Div 2 boys. North beat Woodville 111 to 6!!!

How is a result like that doing anything for junior bball in SA?

There's a few blowouts when you look through the Divs Boys and Girls where wins are 50+
