Great basketball story - love the game

Check out this link about the remote NT team competing at the U14 national club championships in Darwin.

This is what our game is all about! Look at the amazing opportunities these kids are being given, look how grateful they are, they trained on single concrete court under a shed before heading to nationals whilst others are training in world class facilities. Some kids, teams and clubs could learn a lot from this I think. Love the game, make the most of what you have. It's not what you have, it's what you do with it!

Nice piece

Respect to Newcastle who won the Andrew gaze fair play team award at the tournament for striking up a friendship and taking this team under their wing all week, beautiful to see

Disrespect to Perry Lakes who needlessly pressed for the full game to rack up a 116 point margin against them

Respect to the Southern Peninsula Sharks who then pressed Perry Lakes all game and beat them by 50+ as payback for their efforts above
