A Leauge SBS Coverage

Just saw an article on the SBS coverage of the A League this season. Pretty good considering they also have every game covered by Fox.

Potentially something the NBL can target down the track. Free to air remains important so maybe it is a 7Mate or ABC, plus Fox deal down the track once the Ten deal expires.

"The Hyundai A-League will be broadcast on free-to-air TV for the very first time when it comes to SBS 2 from October.

As well as a live match every Friday night, SBS will broadcast weekly highlights on a Monday night (8:30pm) and a live football entertainment program, Thursday FC (8:30pm). SBS will also air an A-League Season Preview on Monday 7 October (10pm) ahead of the start of the season. All Hyundai A-League matches will be simulcast in high definition on SBS HD."

the NBL should sell rights to their best game each week for $1 to the first bidder.
