Coaching Clinic by NBA Great Luc Longley
NBA great Luc Longley to conduct coaching clinic for SA Basketball coaches!
The Free Throw Foundation is delighted to announce today a wonderful opportunity for the basketball coaching fraternity here in South Australia to attend a "Coaches" coaching clinic conducted by 3 x NBA Chicago Bulls Championship Centre Luc Longley!
Luc will specialise on big man technique both in offence and defence. This is an amazing opportunity for local coaches to listen to Luc talk through these important coaching issues.
Free Throw Foundation Chairman David Spear made the announcement today;
“This is an amazing opportunity for the local clubs and association coaches to listen to Luc talk about playing as a big man. There is no-one else in Australia today with this sort of experience that can articulate this detail like Luc Longley can”
The clinic will be conducted on;
When: Saturday the 12th October 2013
Where: At the Adelaide Arena
Time: From 10am till 11am sharp
We sincerely thank the management team at the Adelaide Arena for their assistance with the venue.
Whilst attendance at the clinic is complimentary, the foundation would like to encourage (and we would greatly appreciate it) all who are attending to make a small donation to the Free Throw Foundation upon arrival to one of the staff in attendance.
“We would love to have people attending the clinic support the Free Throw Foundation on the day with a donation of some sort, as the funds raised will go straight back into supporting young basketballers in this state” Spear said.
There is no need to register your attendance and we strongly encourage you to bring your coaching associates along with you. This will not be a drill based clinic, but you will gather a great deal of insight into the ways of a big man in the post.
