Maher to coach Sturt next season

Iconic Adelaide 36ers superstar Brett Maher will finally, formally, dip his toe into coaching, taking on the role of Sturt Sabres' head coach for the 2014 State Basketball League.

Boti....seriously. I'm all for making it a feel good story but to suggest the like of Holmes etc. are coming back to play is ridiculous. Sturt pay sfa to their players and whether Brett is there or not is not going to persuade them. A totally overhyped, over colourised story.

He didn't suggest that. He was writing up Maher's comments that those guys were named:

Maher said regaining some of Sturt's former champions would be a priority.
This happens with news reporting everywhere.
