Pity that Basketball SA don't have the staff that could proactive like this. All they appear to care about is covering their backsides to ensure that they don't get the sack for being incompetent!!!!!!!

Well, b4 we get carried away...
a) Basketball Victoria have signed the deal not BigV so every chance BigV are just backing the "cause"
b) Its listed as a partnership - is it actually a sponsorship? Or is it more like the relationship with call to arms?

Thats awesome. Good on them!! Wish more sporting organisations did stuff like this.
what a crock of crap. Typical of Big V management to promote something that isnt. Its not a sponsorship it just a promotion. Its just like every other so called sponsorship they crow about, not worth one single dollar. A true sponsorship deal involves money changing hands. When will BV and BIg V get off this bullshit inclusion for everyone bandwagaon and focus on making the existing competition better quality.
Where have 'Big V management' said this is a sponsorship?
Great initiative, lets not confuse the term "partnership" with "sponsorship" either.
A few have fought very hard behind the scenes in recent years against gender and age discrimination shown towards officials.
Hopefully this will bring the issue front and center and stamp it out completely for future generations.

Article is a positive promotion of an initiative that shows they want to be known as a diverse and empathetic organisation, no where does it mention a sponsorship. A good partnership though, none the less...
