For qld id go:

Baynes Vanderjagt
Motum Jawai
Weigh Blanchfield
Goulding M.Cedar
Norton Gleeson

Great team, perhaps lacks guard depth.

Add Ecum/Simmons to Vic line up. They the best state?

NSW:

Damo
Markovic
Bose
Ogilvy
Khazzouh

Nielsen
Petrie
Cadee
White
Tomlinson (technically born in Melb but grew up in Syd/played juniors here)

So not overly balanced, but wouldn't go over the points cap by TOO much (4-5pts?)

I'm sorry but why is Tyson Demos being mentioned in this thread?

Well said Situation & especially being described as a gun. The only time you'd use "gun" & "Demos" in the same sentence is if you were suggesting somebody shoot him.

That would actually be a bloody good tournament. Those teams are better then NBL and would be very interesting. Say as a warm up event for worlds or something play a tourney between SA, NSW, WA, VIC, QLD and TAS/Territories.

Have 2 pools of 3 so each play 2 games and then top 2 of each pool play knockout rounds.

Could be a big event if done properly and the higher level players playing! Obviously wouldn't be a yearly thing but possibly every 2 or 4 years

They should definitely explore this idea - different from an All Star game - it takes them back to playing with team-mates from juniors.

It's a great idea - but Basketball Australia wouldn't do it. The NBL should run with it.
