Tai is concentrating on going to College in Nebraska.
Rob Loe is also concentrating on his final year in College.
Isaac Fotu is not available also due to school commitments.
Penney has not made himself available, think he's trying to get an injury to come right.
Not sure why Leon Henry isn't on the list so expect something like...

Tait/?
Webster/Bartlett
Abercrombie/TeRangi
Vukona/Anthony
Pledger/Truman

Tall Blacks coach Nenad Vucinic's 19 trialists is a group more notable for the names not on the list than those that are on it.

Spurned Breaker Leon Henry has made himself unavailable.

Abercrombie, currently trying out in the NBA's summer recruiting period, is expected to be available for the subsequent tour to China and August's series against the Boomers.

Penney is taking this international season off, while Adams' priority will clearly be with the Oklahoma City Thunder as he endeavours to prove his worth ahead of the upcoming NBA season. Loe and Fotu both have summer school commitments in the US, while Webster is about to start at the University of Nebraska.

Vucinic has eight uncapped players among his 19 trialists, who will be whittled down to 12 to tour China, over two days of workouts. The China tour will lead into the Fiba world championship qualifying series against Australia.

Auckland schoolboy Salt is considered a big man of considerable potential, and is likely to be named one of the NZ Breakers' development players for their upcoming Australian NBL season.

Jordan Ngatai and Tom Vodanovich are heading to US colleges this year, while the others have impressed in the NZNBL for their respective teams.

Jack Salt is 206cm and 17 years old. He is in his last year at Westlake Boys High School (the school where Penney, Loe, Abercrombie went).

He will probably be a Breakers development player next season and may also go to a high-major college.

The Breakers are probably watching all NZ college players. Overdevest averaged 0.3ppg in Division 3 last year, there are probably better prospects out there

Tait/Kenny
Webster/Bartlett
Abercrombie/Te Rangi
Vukona/Anthony
Pledger/Horvath/Trueman

The last spot I would give to either Bloxham, Anderson or Prewster. Of the young players Salt has the biggest future, however there are enough bigs on this team.

Tai Webster, Jordan Ngatai and Tom Vodanovich will be ones to watch as will Rueban TeRangi in the next couple of years.

Hear lots varying reviews on Jack Salt in regards to his talent ceiling.
I have paid little to no attention to the NZNBL this season sorry

I think the fact that there is no Penney will make things very difficult for NZ to win this series. I just dont think they have enough players who can pit in the whole on a regular basis.

Time will tell.

Not even sure why they will play this series. Both teams have already qualified.

#892 the reason for playing is to determine the seeding out of Oceania. This will then determine which side of the pool they are situated in. The premise is that the #1 seeded Oceania team should get a better group

Well in 2009 in this same series the TBs won and still got a lower seed than the Boomers!

New Zealand will prob get owned by a Boomers C team in this series.

Having Penney on the court free's up every other player offensively due to the attention he demands.
Without him Abercrombie will struggle to have any impact offensively with the Boomers athletic forwards having his measure.

Where is Marcel Jones???

Hopefully they don't go with Frank as the naturalised player...Don't really see his value anymore.

Tait/Webster
Abercrombie/Bartlett
Jones/Te Rangi
Vukona/Anthony
Pledger/Loe

I'd take neither of them.
TallBlacks weakest position is currently PG until Tai Webster gets a few College games under his belt.

4 players aren't Kiwi's, Corletto & Bruton + 2 Imports. Most of the NZ contingent are from Auckland also apart from I think Pledger and Bloxham.
