Australia will play for a medal at the FIBA under-19 men's world championship after an upset win over Spain in Prague on Friday night.
The Emus beat the Spanish 87-76 in their quarter final on the back of a superb team performance and a stellar 33 points from point guard Dante Exum of Victoria.
Guard Emmett Naar had 15 points while another Victorian, Dane Pineau, was also exceptional with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
The Emus play highly-favoured Serbia in the semi finals in the early hours of Sunday morning while Lithuania faced gold-medal favourites USA in the other semi-final.

The gold and bronze medal games will be played in the early hours of Monday morning Australian time.
Exum is one of five Emus players whose parents played at the elite level and several of the players are getting major attention from US colleges.
Pineau has already signed with St Mary's, the same college Patty Mills went to while Exum has attracted scholarship offers from many of the biggest teams in college basketball.
Exum is the son of former NBL import Cecil Exum, Pineau is the son of former Melbourne Tiger Brad Pineau, Keanu Pinder is son of former Perth Wildcat Tiny Pinder, Jonah Bolden is son of long time NBL import Bruce Bolden and Gerard Martin is son of former WNBL player Paula Martin nee Hetenyi.
