not overly sure southern even turned up it wasn't a case of north playing that well it was more a case of southern were there in body but not in spirit

North played awesome... you cant try and turn this into a "Southern lost it, north didnt win it" crap.

Norths defense was switched on all night, they didnt give Southern a chance to get into any sort of form.

actually it was their senior starters that got them off to a great start 20 up at the half. Solid weekend from hawkes , McKay hambour and Zorich which got the Rockets off to great starts in both games. Pity the bench didnt come to play in the South game, scoring 6 points on 2 of 10 shooting.

loveday went to his bench early in the tigers game
youngster tom rowe came on and did a fantastic job of shutting down brad gerlach
was a complete team effort by all eleven players

Firstly I would like to applaud Mike Mckay for hanging around after the game for a bite to eat. DC you give him a lot of crap but at least he shows true sportsmanship. What is it with the opposition and not hanging around for a drink and something to eat at Marion? Don't they like our food or something???

probably the company hanging around at Marion :) McKay shows true sportsmanship, only one who hangs around at m/vale too. Also when they lost the g/final v Eagles he was the only one who hung around on the court to see the eagles accept the trophy - much respect

yeh, respect to mike......i gotta say north have had 2 harsh losses at the cage the last 2 years, and he has hung around both times.....no sign of hamburgler or hawkes. sportsmanship goes a long way!!

Actually, Both Hambour and Hawkes stayed for the great meal provided at "the cage" this season.
