Lakers equal 4th that's crazy, I think they won't even be top 4 in the West. Unless they get something for Dwight, Nash and gasol turn clock back 5 years they are screwed.

Dwight, Gasol and Kobe are rumoured to be taking a pay cut to allow them to acquire Chris Paul.

Just kidding..but imagine that. I generally think that a lot of ball players and fans would happily take a pay cut if it meant they could give the Championship a legit go...but why do 99% of NBA players not do that?

Greg Oden is coming back next year. If he decides to take his talents to south beach, just about lock them in. Due to injury history, I wouldn't think he will sign for much money, so they'll be able to keep Bosh, and for the first time in the big three era, they'll have some size about them.

Dallas can get enough cap room to sign Paul or Howard.

But would need to trade everyone except Dirk to get both.

The play is to sign one of them and then Dirk will sign for less next off-season and they can get another gun player.
