Penaluna had a deal agreed to with Canberra but failed the physical they put her thru, deal pulled, so she signed with Bendigo

I think people are getting confused with Bishops signing for Canberra - she has signed for 2014/2015 & 2015/2016, not for the upcoming WNBL season at the moment.
I read somewhere she still contracted to her European team for next season, so at the moment she won't be lining up for the Caps in 2013/2014 unless something changes.

Bishop tweeted someone the other day saying that her team in Europe was dropping to Div6 and she definatly wasnt going back to play Div6

She also tweeted that she is still contracted to them for next season and is waiting for the outcome - doesn't sound happy about still being contracted to them, so hopefully there is some out clause in the contract due to the demotion of the team and she can get out of it, and return to Aus for the upcoming season.
