Interesting CPL round in Wollongong on the weekend.
The under 18 men's division looks really close with one win separating second to fifth.
Was really interested to see that Gosford didn't risk their injured star player Matt Bateup against Newcastle or Canberra on the Saturday but played him nearly 40 minutes against Albury on the Sunday.
Albury have been the surprise packets this year and I'm not surprised Ian Robilliard was worried about them. Gosford ended up winning by 11 but Albury took it right up to them.
It's going to be a really tight race for finals spots with one round to go. Unfortunately five teams can't fit into four places.
