Watched the match. Joey looked more up for it this morning compared to most barca matches.
I gladly admit to not knowing too much about basketball tactics or plays - but can anyone explain why the barca coach seems to always leave Joey out on the wing during offence, he does not seem to get involved so much??
Anyway - good luck to the two Aussie lads in London next month.

Huertas, Navarro and Jasikevicius are their playmakers and the other guys feed off that. Joe needs to go somewhere where he can play his natural game more, but before he does why not claim a Euroleague title?!
He was still hesitant tonight but that first triple on the inside-out with Jawai seemed to give him some real belief. The look on his face afterwards was great!

buck, keeping Ingles out on the wing allows for Barcelona to really spread the court forcing other teams to have to come out on the perimeter and play defence as he can knock down the 3 ball.
This opens up the interior for Huertas and Navarro, who are arguably the two best guards in the world not in the NBA, to drive and create for them or their teammates.

Nate had 9p, 6rb and 3bl in 17m with 100% shooting from the floor and stripe
Jawai is the best Aussie on this team, not even close.
I'm not sure what the metric is exactly but Jawai and Ingles had the top two highest numbers in the "RNK" column:

Nate plays a different role, so comparing them is like a tomato and an orange.
God i hate thye wankers in Adelaide , they have no understanding of Basketball and roles.
Wait till you get a new coach, and Bag him also!!

cheers MACDUB, I knew there was a reason - he just looks so lonely out there sometimes.
Anyway, great to see more Aussies doing well at the top-end of Euroball
#495, what makes you think the 'wankers' comparing Joe and Nate are from Adelaide? Being a wanker is not exclusive to SA; in fact per head of population, Victoria has the rest of Australia covered by a long stretch.

great job from Jawai. Jingles was at least aggressive the first half. good to see for a change
Great comeback #531. Do you write all your own material? Are you allowed to use the grown-up pencils or do you just use your crayons?
It actually was a pretty good comeback. It's just that you can't find one yourself, #539
Ummm 8 points in 31minutes isnt that crash hot. But good on him for being in one of the most ferocious leagues.
Ummm, if the coach played him for 31 minutes he must have been playing the role required - irrespective of stat line.

great to see Ingles have 18 pts in 29 mins against Real Madrid the other top team in spain.
This opens up the interior for Huertas and Navarro, who are arguably the two best guards in the world not in the NBA, to drive and create for them or their teammates.
